Born in Belgium, Mattice holds a Master of Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial product design, magna cum laude, from the University of Applied Sciences Howest, Belgium. His team’s research, as part of the Material Architecture Lab, led by Daniel Widrig and Dr. Guan Lee, revolved around the cultivation and design of living material on an architectural scale, a first for the lab since its inception in 2004.

She established her jewellery brand, Ikku Fine Jewellery, in 2020 to provide customers with a reasonably priced fine jewellery line of contemporary designs. From a young age, Yukking has been drawn to gems and jewellery, believing not just in their intrinsic beauty, but in the symbolism and personal meaning behind each piece. Growing up between the U.K and Hong Kong, she was constantly surrounded by art, as well as visually rich and multicultural environments. After graduating from London College of Fashion with a degree in Fashion Design, she continued her study in Luxury Jewellery Management(MA) from Birmingham City University and Diamond Graduate from Gemological Institute of America.
