Betina Menescal is a born Brazilian, undergraduate architecture student at Westminster University in London and when the pandemic put the world in lockdown she put her creativity, focus and determination to teaching herself into the world of watchmaking. Given her personal interest in watches since she was 11, thanks to her father who is a longtime watch enthusiast and a collector, it is not surprising that Betina should have decided to create her own watch brand at age 21. She is heavily influenced by Mid-Century Modern, the Bauhaus and Dieter Rams; she is passionate about designing products that are simple, clean and beautiful.

After spending five years in Tokyo learning the traditional Japanese glass-cutting technique "Kiriko," a designer moved to Tokushima to establish his cutting-edge studio in 2019. His creations include a wide range of daily items, such as glasses, dishes, and lampshades, all featuring original designs that aim to bring a sense of calm and joy to people's lives. Recently, he has been interested in glassblowing and is producing exceptional multilayered glasses that showcase his unique sensitivity and creativity.

Fulden Topaloglu is an engineer turned designer who has worked as a designer and design manager for renowned brands in the Turkish market, carrying out projects for companies from different industrial sectors, like furniture, accessories, home textiles, packaging, jewelry, food and houseware. In 2018, she established her design studio, named Studio Kali, where she channels her passion and experience towards providing design services, as well as building a meaningful and inspirational brand for living spaces with Studio Kali’s product collection. Fulden’s work crosses a broad spectrum of design disciplines and mediums, merging ideas and techniques from craft, art and culture to reimagine and shape inspiring products, objects and experiences. In Studio Kali’s product collection, she specifically focuses on products that are at the intersection of craft production and modern design. In its long-lasting activity, the Bureau has completed a significant number of projects – of both small and large scale – in various fields of building design and urban planning (residential buildings, office spaces, industrial buildings, tourist facilities, golf resorts & sports centres, culture, restoration and reformation of listed historical buildings, urban planning, decorating, special designs etc). Facing towards the new challenges, contemporary design account for Inclusive Design practices, Sustainable Energy Technologies and Integrated IT Services.
